Job Description

The Housekeeping Runner supports the housekeeping team by ensuring timely and efficient delivery and collection of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies between the housekeeping department, guest floors, and other hotel departments. This role is essential to maintaining smooth housekeeping operations and contributes directly to guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Deliver clean linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to guest floors and housekeeping staff as required.
·  Collect used linens, towels, and trash from guest floors and return them to the laundry or designated collection points.
·  Assist housekeeping attendants with carrying heavy or bulky items when necessary.
·  Maintain proper handling and storage of all linens and supplies to prevent damage or loss.
·  Ensure housekeeping carts and storage areas are well-stocked, organized, and clean.
·  Report any maintenance issues, lost property, or safety hazards encountered during rounds to the supervisor promptly.
·  Follow all hotel safety, hygiene, and security protocols while performing duties.
·  Support the housekeeping team with additional tasks as assigned to ensure smooth daily operations.
·  Maintain good communication with housekeeping and other related departments to coordinate efficient workflows.

Qualifications

·  Previous experience in a similar role or basic knowledge of housekeeping operations is an advantage but not mandatory.
·  Physically fit and capable of handling lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
·  Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
·  Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
·  Good communication skills in English.
·  Reliable, punctual, and flexible to work shifts including weekends and holidays.
