PURPOSE OF POSITION
Assist villa attendants with their work and ensure items are delivered on a timely manner whilst adhering to hotel policies and procedures.
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Collect clean linen from the laundry and distribute to the pantries and villas to the room attendants.
· Pick up soil linen from the pantries and villas and deliver them the laundry.
· Assist in delivering guest requests as needed such as iron and board, amenities, etc...
· Deliver, pick up and prepare roll away and cribs to the rooms and return them to the designated storage area.
· Assist in maintaining housekeeping pantries and offices.
· Pick up of guest supplies from the general store and placing them in the housekeeping store.
· Pick up water bottles from the plant room and distributing them on the floor.
· Ensure the runners buggy is in good working condition and clean at all times.
· Report to Laundry Manager any misuse of linens.
· Report to the floor supervisor and misuse of items and maintenance of equipment’s.
· Carry out any special duties assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
Secondary education
EXPERIENCE
· Minimum 2 years experience in a similar capacity in the hospitality industry.
Additional Information
· Good communication skills and good customer service
· Creative and possess eye for detail
· Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
· Must be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items.
