We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Hostess to join our team in Novotel Cairo El Borg Hotel, Egypt. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience.

·  Greet and welcome guests warmly upon arrival
·  Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
·  Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials
·  Coordinate with wait staff to ensure smooth service flow
·  Monitor dining room for cleanliness and proper table settings
·  Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries professionally
·  Assist in resolving guest concerns or complaints
·  Maintain an organized host stand and reservation system
·  Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
·  Promote a positive and team-oriented work environment

Qualifications

·  Previous experience as a Hostess or in a similar customer-facing role for 1 year
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Strong guest engagement abilities and a friendly demeanor
·  Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
·  Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
·  Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
·  Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
·  Basic math skills for managing reservations and wait lists
·  Knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards
·  Proficiency in using reservation management systems
·  Well-groomed appearance and professional presentation
·  Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
·  University degree in a related discipline preferred
