Job Description
We are looking for a motivated and reliable part-time handyperson to join our maintenance team and assist in keeping our property in top condition.
What will you be doing?
· Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks, including plumbing, painting, HVAC, and general upkeep of hotel facilities.
· Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and service areas are in excellent working order.
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
· Conduct regular inspections of hotel equipment, machinery, and systems to identify potential issues.
· Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and materials, and request replacements as necessary.
· Assist with setup and breakdown for special events or room configurations.
· Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
· Communicate effectively with hotel staff to address urgent maintenance concerns.
Qualifications
Your Skills and experience include:
· Previous experience working on the maintenance of hotels, fixed plant or
equipment systems.
• Knowledge of preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance strategies.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self motivated person who takes a proactive approach to work and is punctual
and reliable.
• Ability to accommodate flexibility with shifts.
