Your purpose will be:
To participate in team management of golf services, training and development of staff, P&L Responsibility, driving sales and guest satisfaction/experience belonging to Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere. To maintain the standards, safety and quality of service as set out in the brand SOP.
Job Description
· Support sales plans, promotions and team incentives
· Work with marketing to keep all golf promotions up to date
· Understand departmental budgets and revenue targets
· Report on all golf‑related revenues
· Take a commercial approach to daily operations to help drive income
· Look for ways to improve service and introduce new ideas
· Ensure all Golf Services follow SOPs and brand standards
· Help maintain and improve guest satisfaction scores
· Lead by example in delivering an exceptional guest journey
· Support colleagues and promote a positive team culture
· Train and guide junior team members
· Contribute to team development and succession planning
· Monitor business levels to ensure smooth daily operations
· Work closely with other departments to maximise performance
· Maintain cleanliness in all front and back‑of‑house golf areas
· Attend weekly Resort Operations Meetings when possible
Qualifications
· 1–2 years of experience in golf operations or guest‑facing leisure services within a luxury resort or premium hospitality setting (preferred)
· Strong communication and customer‑service skills
· Good organisational and leadership abilities
· Basic IT proficiency (PMS, booking systems, Microsoft Office)
· Ability to work outdoors and manage the physical demands of the role
· Knowledge of golf etiquette, products and services (preferred)
· First Aid certification (preferred)
