We are seeking a commercially driven Conference & Events Sales Executive to join our high-performing team. This role is responsible for driving conference and events revenue, achieving conversion targets and delivering exceptional client experiences that lead to repeat business.

Job Description

Reporting to the Conference & Events Sales Manager, you will:

·  Drive conference and events sales to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
·  Implement sales strategies as directed and monitor conversion performance against agreed KPIs.
·  Prepare tailored proposals and quotations covering venue, function, menu and accommodation, ensuring revenue is maximised.
·  Proactively follow up on enquiries and negotiate effectively to secure business.
·  Maintain and grow a strong database of key conference and incentive clients.
·  Monitor competitor activity within the region and provide recommendations to refine selling strategies.
·  Assist in preparing sales forecasts and contribute ideas to achieve targets.
·  Coordinate and host site inspections and familiarisations, ensuring strong follow-up.
·  Deliver accurate and detailed event handovers to the Conference & Events Operations team.
·  Maintain an active presence within the hotel, building strong relationships with operational teams.
·  Ensure exceptional client satisfaction through seamless communication and post-event follow-up.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will:

·  Demonstrate strong commercial acumen and a passion for driving revenue.
·  Have previous experience in hotel events, sales or a customer-facing operational role.
·  Be highly organised with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines.
·  Possess outstanding communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
·  Be proactive, resilient and motivated by achieving targets.
·  Thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
