Job description
Key tasks
- Take total responsibility for the successful hotel operations and activities
- Maintain Sofitel brand standards and procedures , ensure outstanding luxury experience for all guests.
- Maximize revenue activities, maintain cost control measures to achieve hotel business objectives and budgets.
- Represent AccorHotels in all issues relating to the hotel, maintain productive owner relationship.
- Provide operational and strategic direction to the hotel management team, and support managers in their individual roles.
- Improve market presentation especially MICE business, foreseeing the short and long-term expectations, maintain realistic yet ambitious targets.
- Promote the hotel through development and implementation of successful sales, public relations, marketing and distribution strategies.
- Identify, train, and retain top talents.

Essential and optional requirements
- Previous experience as a hotel general manager within luxury hotel environment, preferably in Asia.
- Familiar with protocol to host high profile guests including Head of states and diplomats
- Comprehensive understanding of luxury service and luxury guest expectations.
- Excellent negotiation, time management, and finance analytical skills.
- Ability to manage on-site owner relationships with regular communication.
- Fluent in written and verbal communication skills in English, other language is a plus. Excellent leadership style which is enabling, collaborative, and entrepreneurial.
