General Manager - Ibis Budget Sheffield (Hotel Opening)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a General Manager to open the new Ibis Budget Sheffield near Sheffield's Velocity Tower,

In your role you will work together with the pre-opening team on all aspects of the project to ensure the hotel, team and all departments meet ibis brand and service standards in line with opening time lines.

The ibis Budget Sheffield will have it's own F&B outlet, 'Chill' offering a full breakfast offer and all day dining. F&B experience is therefore highly desirable.

Once opened you will continue work to ensure that operational and guest experience standards are in place and manage the day to day operations.

You will work to ensure the financial success of the hotel, always looking to drive the business forward.

You will achieve high quality standards measured through guest satisfaction.

You will be fully responsible for the hotel talent day to day in terms of their performance, wellbeing and ongoing development.

You must have 3-4 years hotel operational management experience and be able to illustrate previous successes in a comparable environment.

You will be an effective communicator, who adheres to both legal/statutory responsibilities and Company Policies and procedures. Able to develop and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

You must have strong leadership ability, with a hands on approach, always leading from the front.

You will have strong business acumen.
