Job Description

Primary Responsibilities – General Cashier

· Collecting Cashiers’ remittance envelopes from cashier drop safe, counts the moneybalance with control sheet, post it into General Cashier Report & import into SUNSystem

· Deposits all cash & cheques collections to the bank daily and file all bank-in slips

· Supplies sufficient loose change for cashiers

· Update daily Forex exchange, reconcile all currency vouchers and report on any discrepancies

· To post the Forex to the Front Office system

· To conduct surprised cash count weekly and ensure all shortage are made good

· Summarizes all petty cash disbursement, keep custody of petty cash and maintain the float for reimbursement

· Prepare weekly casual pay out, reconcile payout to the cash and file documents for Journal posting

· Issues official receipts and gift certificates

- Provide timely reports to all concerned

Qualifications

·  Diploma in Accounting / Finance
·  Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar capacity
·  Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
·  Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and relevant accounting systems
