Job Description

At Accor, we Pioneer the Art of responsible Hospitality, through connecting cultures with Heartfelt Care. 

This role is based within the Accor team at the  Qantas Lounges Brisbane - both the domestic airport as well as the international terminal.

We are looking for service superstars who are passionate about hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences through food and beverage service.

Key duties of this role include, but are not limited to the following:

·  Creating memorable service experiences for our Qantas Lounge guests
·  Clearing tables as well as ensuring service areas are clean and tidy, buffet service
·  Experienced team members can also develop skills in Barista, bar and A La Carte service points
·  Serving beverages efficiently using tray service, ensuring smooth and safe delivery to guest
·  Loading and unloading service trolleys - glassware, cutlery, plates and crockery
·  Working closely with multiple departments front of house as well as our culinary and stores teams
·  Responsible for carrying and balancing trays with multiple items, maintaining balance and speed
·  Representing the iconic Qantas Brand, showcasing immaculate presentation
·  Maintain standards of hygiene for food handling and presentation.
·  Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general OHS practices

Morning roster can include 4/5am starts and evening rosters are 1pm-9pm and 5pm-1am

Ideal applicants will have full flexibility to work AM and PM shifts including the weekends

Qualifications

Proven history working in a premium guest focused service environment

This role would ideally suit someone who is studying hospitality, hotel and tourism and would love to create a long term career in this field

Own transport ideal

Ongoing permanent part-time role 4-5 days each week
