Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
· Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
· Analyze financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and suggesting corrective actions.
· Manage accounts payable, ensuring that all invoices are processed on time and payments are made accurately.
· Oversee accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments from guests, clients, or partners.
· Maintain records of all financial transactions.
· Handle cash flow management, ensuring there are sufficient funds for daily operations.
· Monitor daily cash handling and reconciliation of cash registers.
· Support internal and external audits by providing financial records and documentation as required.
· Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and hotel-specific financial policies.
· Assist with cost control measures, including tracking and analyzing operating expenses.
· Work with department heads to ensure that costs stay within budget limits.
· Oversee and ensure the accurate processing of guest billing for room charges, food & beverage, and other services.
· Resolve discrepancies in guest accounts or billing errors.
· Use financial management software to input, track, and report financial data.
· Stay up to date with financial software updates and improvements.
Qualifications
· 1-2 years’ experience in Accounts
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
