Job description

Key tasks

• Manage all pastry staff and makes administrative decisions for the pastry kitchen.
• The Chef reviews food and beverage purchases; develops and standardizes recipes; designs food presentation aesthetics; plans the pastry menu; and assigns prices to pastry items.
•Other responsibilities include monitoring sanitation practices, ensuring that kitchen safety standards are followed, as well as recruiting, deploying and developing pastry kitchen staff.
•Control Cost and purchase food.
• Exhibits creative baking and decorating talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff in preparing quality and consistent pastries for all areas.
