Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Entertainment Co-ordinator to join our team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As the Entertainment Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and executing a diverse range of entertainment activities for our guests, ensuring memorable experiences that exceed their expectations.
· Develop and implement innovative entertainment programmes and activities suitable for various age groups and interests
· Coordinate and oversee daily entertainment schedules, ensuring smooth execution of all planned events
· Collaborate with other departments to create cohesive guest experiences
· Recruit, train, and manage entertainment staff, including performers and activity leaders
· Maintain and manage entertainment equipment and supplies
· Monitor guest feedback and adapt programmes accordingly to enhance customer satisfaction
· Manage budgets for entertainment activities and negotiate with external vendors when necessary
· Promote upcoming events and activities through various channels, including social media
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all entertainment areas
· Stay updated on local cultural events and incorporate them into the entertainment programme when appropriate
Qualifications
· Proven experience (2-3 years minimum) in entertainment coordination or similar role within the hospitality or tourism industry
· Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field (preferred)
· Excellent event planning and management skills
· Strong creative abilities with a talent for developing engaging entertainment concepts
· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
· Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
· Proficient in time management and multitasking
· Experience in budgeting and financial planning for entertainment programmes
· Familiarity with social media marketing and promotion strategies
· Knowledge of local culture and entertainment trends in Phu Quoc, Vietnam
· Understanding of the hospitality and tourism industry
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
· Fluency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is a plus
