Leadership and Management:
· Provide leadership and direction to the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
· Supervise, train, and mentor engineering staff, ensuring that all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.

Maintenance and Repair:
· Coordinate and oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within the hotel.
· Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any issues or potential problems, and implement proactive maintenance measures as needed.

Project Management:
· Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, including renovations, upgrades, and installations.
· Develop project plans, budgets, and timelines, and ensure that projects are completed on schedule and within budgetary constraints.

Compliance and Safety:
· Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards, including those related to fire safety, building codes, and environmental regulations.
· Implement and maintain a comprehensive safety program, including regular training, inspections, and emergency preparedness procedures.

Budgeting and Cost Control:
· Develop and manage the engineering department budget, ensuring that expenses are within budgetary limits and that resources are allocated effectively.
· Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements, and implement strategies to optimize operational performance.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
· Minimum of 1 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
· Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
· Excellent technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
· Proven experience in project management, including budgeting and scheduling.
· Knowledge of relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
