Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Barista to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality coffee beverages while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

·  Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, including espresso-based beverages, drip coffee, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
·  Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment.
·  Provide friendly and efficient customer service, taking orders and answering questions about menu items.
·  Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards.
·  Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system.
·  Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
·  Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and menu offerings.
·  Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
·  Contribute to creating a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
·  Adapt to changing customer needs and preferences, including knowledge of local coffee culture in Dubai.

Qualifications

·  Previous experience as a barista in a high-end café, hotel, or restaurant setting.
·  Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso preparation, and latte art.
·  Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
·  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
·  Proficiency in operating and maintaining various coffee equipment.
·  Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
·  Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
·  Food safety and hygiene certification (as required by local regulations).
·  Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
·  Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
·  Barista certification is preferred but not required.
·  Passion for coffee and enthusiasm for creating exceptional beverage experiences.
·  Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
·  Ability to adapt to local coffee preferences and cultural sensitivities in Dubai.
