Job Description

We are looking for an Assistant Night Manager who is dedicated to providing a memorable experience and create that human connection with our guests, at every stage of their stay.

As a Part Time (could lead to full time) Assistant Night Manager, your tasks and responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to the following:

·  Process and assist with check-in, check-out of guests, ensuring all procedures are adhered too.
·  Balance accounts at the end of each day and post any outstanding charges to guests’ accounts.
·  Lead by example when attending to guest requests. Be proactive and resourceful.
·  Have the necessary skills and training to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by customers.
·  Monitor training and offer guidance to employees whilst on shift.
·  Assist in all areas of the hotel during peak times to eliminate potential issues.
·  Responsibility for the health and safety of all patrons, guests and staff members.
·  Carry out Night Audit and End of Day Procedures
·  Hold responsibility and accountability for the efficient operation of the hotel during the hours of 11.00pm and 7.00am.

Qualifications

You are naturally a confident person who is able to approach people and initiate conversation along with a strong knowledge of the hotel and its surrounding area.

You have experience in Opera, Microsoft Word and Outlook. First Aid Certificate and Responsible Service of Alcohol for the relevant state are required. You will be available to work varied shifts from early mornings to late evenings, including weekends and Public Holidays as per our business demands.
