Job Description

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join Pullman Phu Quoc Beach Resort, Vietnam. In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Housekeeper to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction throughout our property.

·  Assist the Executive Housekeeper in managing daily housekeeping operations and staff
·  Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and facilities to maintain cleanliness and quality standards
·  Coordinate with other departments, particularly Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry, to ensure smooth operations
·  Train and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring proper use of equipment and adherence to safety protocols
·  Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and linens, placing orders as needed
·  Handle guest complaints and special requests promptly and professionally
·  Participate in the recruitment, evaluation, and counselling of housekeeping personnel
·  Implement and maintain effective quality control systems and procedures
·  Assist in creating and managing cleaning schedules, including deep cleaning and maintenance projects
·  Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
·  Attend and contribute to daily communication meetings and weekly housekeeping meetings
·  Support the Executive Housekeeper in budgeting and cost control measures

Qualifications

·  Diploma in Tourism & Hospitality Management or related field
·  Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
·  Excellent command of written and spoken English
·  Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
·  Strong leadership and team management skills
·  In-depth knowledge of housekeeping operations and industry standards
·  Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
·  Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality
·  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
·  Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
·  Knowledge of Vietnamese culture and hospitality standards (desirable)
·  Proficiency in additional languages (advantageous)
