What you will do

Volvo Commercial Vehicles (VCV) Brisbane North are seeking an experienced and self-driven Detailer to work on Volvo trucks. This will be a casual part time position, on average working 2 days per week. Your day-to-day duties will include:

·  Detailing new trucks to customer standards
·  Tank and guard polishing
·  Work with the Pre-Delivery team to ensure vehicles are out on time to customers
·  Assist with the pickup and delivery of new and used trucks
·  Assist with on-site vehicle moves

Your future team

This role will be based at our VCV Brisbane North dealership in Pinkenba. Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, you will work independently day to day. However, you will form part of a greater team of roughly 40, that is made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Trades Assistants, Apprentices, Service Advisor’s and Costing Clerk’s. The team pride themselves on running a quality and highly efficient operation, in a supportive team environment.

Who are you?

· 
To be successful in this role you will need to not only have strong prior experience, but also positive behavioural skills, including:

·  Previous detailing experience on cars or trucks
·  Polishing experience is desirable but not essential
·  A current driver’s license (an HR license would be advantageous)
·  Have an eye for detail and work within deadlines
·  The ability to work well in a team or individually
·  Understanding the importance of your safety and other’s in the workplace
