National Service Manager

What you will do
As the National Service Manager for Volvo Buses, you will be responsible for technical support to our Dealers and Bus Field personnel, as well as controlling the Bus quality costs.
· Your day-to-day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
· Lead a team of Regional Bus Field personnel in a professional manner.
· Ensure quality costs are kept within budget whilst maintaining customer satisfaction.
· Ensure that Aftersales Bus Service are reported and analysed
· Ensure that all applications for the Bus Aftersales are adhered to according to GDP and GDI
· Maintain and monitor Service Agreements
· Ensure warranty registrations are maintained and on target
· Providing Aftersales Bus Service staff and Dealer network with updated technical material
· Maintenance of the mater Aftersales Bus Service and technical files.
· Management of Bus campaigns, recalls and reporting.

Reporting to the Volvo Bus General Manager, you will be part of a team of roughly 22 Volvo Buses Australia employees who are geographically dispersed across Australia. You will oversee a team of 6, made up of Regional Sales Managers, a National Competence Manager and a Field Service Specialist.
Who are you?
We believe that your behaviours and attributes are just as important as your technical skills, so ideally you will have:
· A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent working experience
· Strong bus industry experience, or heavy industry experience
· Service or aftermarket focused experience
· Excellent people management skills
· Strong communication and time management skills
· Sound Microsoft Office and computer skills
· Excellent problem solving and resolution skills.
