Logistics costs typically represent a significant portion of the total costs of a product before it reaches the end consumer. The aim of this thesis project is to develop a comprehensive total cost model that accounts for both direct and indirect costs related to logistics flows. This cost model is intended to be used in future projects and for continuous improvements in logistics processes.

Thesis work objective:

•    Identify key cost drivers
•    Evaluate current cost management practices
•    Develop a cost analysis framework
•    Propose cost reduction strategies
•    Assess the impact of technology
•    Benchmark against Industry Standards
•    Measure the effectiveness of implemented strategies
•    Provide recommendations for continuous improvement
 

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a motivated student who is open-minded and has strong communication skills. You should enjoy challenges, be comfortable working in a team environment, and possess an interest in logistics, supply chain management, and cost modeling. 
Strong analytical skills and a background in fields such as Industrial economics, mechanical engineering, production development, industrial engineering, Logistics or Industrial analytics are highly desirable.
