What you will do
At Volvo Group Digital & IT you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry, and society at large. You will:
· Be a Java / full-stack developer in the agile development team.
· Actively participate in planning, developing, and implementing back-end solutions.
· Work with designers and software engineers to develop modern & intuitive applications.
· Work with security, fix vulnerabilities, and perform application scanning.
· Participate in the development of new features and technical upgrades.
· Code refactoring, JUnit coverage.
Who are you?
Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will bring:
· Minimum 2-3 years of recent practical experience in Java.
· Experience with Java 8, Spring, Spring Boot, JUnit.
· Nice to have: Angular, Docker.
· Ability to write high-quality code and to participate in Code Reviews.
· Ability to identify areas to improve, design, and develop improvements.
· Ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues in the team.
· Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
· Motivation, and ability to work independently with daily tasks.
· Knowledge of SQL and databases, i.e., Oracle DB.
