What you will do
We are currently looking for a HR Generalist - a proactive & experienced HR professional person, who will deliver investigative and resolution based HR support, services and administration as a generalist across multiple HR areas in a world-leading global company. You will work independently to perform tasks within applicable HR operations area(s) including employee lifecycle administration, time management, HR data & tool utilization, HR reporting, expatriates support, recruitment, etc. and according to guidelines, policies, laws, and regulations. You will also participate and contribute to related global and local HR projects to simplify and automate HR services processes.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Administration:
• Be responsible for employee lifecycle administration including hiring and termination processes, control/process of retirement, internal transfer, etc.
• Maintain core HR system
• Work with HR case management tool to handle employee queries / requests
• Facilitate employee probation review and contract renewal and dismissals process
• Manage employee time records and filing
• Provide work administration related monthly payroll data
• Administrate employee personnel file
• Support employee personal government related documents application / renewal (Hukou, work permit, etc.)
• Provide related HR reporting
Expatriate Support:
• Provide timely consultation and communication on expatriate management
• Administer and support expatriate relocation and repatriation independently and effectively covering responsible site/division/BAs in Volvo Group China
• Follow up IA contracts filing, renewal and prolongation
• Manage expatriate related payment timely including monthly rental, school payment, language training, etc.
• Effectively manage the cost level and performance of expatriate support related vendors
Recruitment:
Manages and coordinates full recruitment process for assigned Volvo Group China companies to efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
Proactively source candidates using internet resources, social media, employee referrals, recruiting techniques and other creative methods.
Reviews and posts all approved requisitions. Including working with external vendors to create and place advertisements.
Works collaboratively with hiring managers and HR business partners to ensure an efficient, compliant recruitment process.
Review candidate resumes and credentials to match skills, experience and knowledge with the right positions, conduct the interview for the required positions independently.
Fully proficient in the company’s recruitment system.
Project support & process improvement
• Project support or assignments by the management
• Contribute to process simplification and digitalization improvements
Who are you?
Main competence requirements
· • Bachelor or above degree
• 3+ years working experience in HR area or generalist experience in MNC environment
• Excellent communication in both English and Chinese
• HR system or cloud solution knowledge & experience
• Knowledge of labor laws and related statutory regulations
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability, quick learner and team player
• Being people-oriented, customer focus, confident and self-motivated with growth mindset
• High ethical standard with integrity
• Ability to handle multi-tasks at one time
