About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and business-driven leader to join us as Head of Transports Parts Management within the newly created Service Development function within GTO Service Market Logistics.
This critical role will oversee the Transport Parts Process, driving operational excellence and ensuring best-in-class processes that deliver quality and efficiency for our customers.
You will play a key role in unlocking our service's full potential and supporting its growth.
As your initial task you will establish a cross-regional Lead Transport Parts Team who together with you will define the process vision, develop strategic roadmaps, and ensure seamless implementation of Global Transport Parts processes and solutions. Additionally, you'll be instrumental in shaping the demands of our supporting Digital Landscape to keep us at the forefront of innovation and closely together with the Digital and IT team secure execution of the roadmap.
The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, with a deep understanding of how to optimize logistics processes to align with both business and Service Market Logistics targets, driving continuous value and growth across the organization.
The role offers flexible locations in Gothenburg, Greensboro, Lyon, Gent, and Curitiba.
Key Responsibilities
· Define the strategic vision and development roadmap for Transport Parts, including requirements for a future-proof digital landscape.
· Together with a team of appointed cross-regional resources lead the design and implementation of best-in-class Transport Parts processes that deliver exceptional quality and efficiency, supporting service growth and unlocking its full potential for our customers.
· Champion the automation of both physical and virtual processes, driving efficiency and innovation to deliver scalable solutions that address key business challenges.
· Take a "one problem – one solution" approach, ensuring impactful, tailored solutions that drive measurable business results.
· Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, translating business needs into scalable solutions
What We Are Looking For
With extensive experience in Transport, Digitalization, Automation, and Operational excellence, you bring a strong foundation in driving efficiency and innovation.
Your leadership skills enable you to challenge the status quo, foster process improvements, and inspire the global process community to embrace excellence.
Collaboration comes naturally to you, making you a key player in engaging teams toward shared goals.
Your deep understanding of Lean principles and Continuous Improvement methodologies, including experience with Volvo Performance System (VPS), positions you as a valuable asset in optimizing operations.
You have a proven track record in change management, successfully navigating complex transformations. Additionally, your expertise in digitalization and data-driven decision-making within logistics, supply chain operations, and services allows you to drive informed strategies and efficiencies.
With the ability to engage senior stakeholders, influence decision-making, and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, you thrive in dynamic settings. Proficiency in English ensures effective communication across global teams.
