At Volvo Construction Equipment in Shippensburg, PA, you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will work as a People & Culture analyst and coordinator who contributes to the overall success of the business by performing administrative assignments and services to support effective and efficient operations of VCE’s human resource department partnering with the different business areas to achieve goals related to their people. In your role, you will primarily perform administrative assignments and services to support effective and efficient operations of VCE’s human resource department but will also support the team and the global organization with a variety of cross-functional projects.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

·  Provide various reports and their thorough analytics to key stakeholders, recurrent or ad-hoc
·  Acts as P&C administrator regarding leave programs including benefits, FMLA and disability. Ensures support to employees and compliance and proper documentation to mitigate risk.
·  Build relationships and partner with employees within the organization to effectively maximize employee involvement at all levels
·  Lead company leased cars program
·  Provide advice and assistance on company policies, procedures, and documentation.
·  Facilitates competence development, recruiting, and related initiatives including new hire paperwork, onboarding as well as coordinating orientation and trainings
·  Research and respond to employee questions and problems promptly
·  Participate to purchase orders activities 
·  May assist in P&C business partners activities such as recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee relations, talent management, diversity and inclusion, competence development, workplace health and wellbeing, organizational development and change.

Must Haves:

·  University Degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field. 
·  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
·  Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite are required. Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn SAP and EBD programs.
·  Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, detailed environment maintaining a high level of customer focus and the ability to approach issues with a sense of urgency, accuracy and consistency.
·  Strong personal credibility, integrity and self-leadership.
·  Strong behavioral competencies related to results orientation, solution provider, customer service, continuous improvement, teamwork, collaboration, and valuing diversity.
·  Ability to manage multiple projects independently.
·  Ability to maintain confidentiality required.
·  Outstanding communication skills.

Success Factors:

·  Experience in Human Resources within a manufacturing environment 
·  Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and employment law 
·  Basic understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies is an asset.
