What you will do

At Volvo Buses you will contribute to the transformation of our company, the transport industry and society at large. You will contribute to our world-class development and integration of high voltage systems and components in our electrical vehicles. You will be part of a highly experienced and international team to secure that our products are competitive by finding technical solution to install high voltage components and route high voltage cables on all our electrical vehicle platforms using 3D-modelling program.

Our team currently consist of 15 committed engineers with different professional backgrounds, interests and history but all with a common mindset: Develop ourselves and our products! On a constant basis, we try to improve our quality assurance and actively work with brainstorming & knowledge sharing in an effort to stay competitive and feel proud of our achievements.
 

 

Who are you?
Do you dream big? We do too, and we are excited to grow together. In this role, you will need to be a skilled team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills that is genuinely interested in product development and sharing your knowledge. B.Sc. or higher education in Electrical, Electronics or Automation Engineering or similar is highly valuable.
 

Experience is required in CATIA, being the main working tool but it is also expected that work is to be done in SABER to release cables. Previous experience or interest in wiring harness design is therefore highly encouraged.
 

Previous experience from electrified vehicles, packaging and installation knowledge is considered as meritorious and so is general high voltage knowledge.
 

Since you have good engineering judgement and priorities, you have the ability and interest to technically support and challenge colleagues in their work and their mindset. You like to share your passion for technical solutions, and you have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As a person you are positive, you display driving force and have a structured way of working.
