VINCI Construction Terrassement Grands Projets is a leading player in the earthworks sector. Our company brings together all of the businesses involved in building infrastructure and regional development, of which earthworks are the backbone, including standard engineering structures and drainage.

VINCI Construction Terrassement Grands Projets manages major projects in France and abroad, where it is particularly present in Europe, North America, Latin America and Africa.

As part of the continued development of VINCI Construction Terrassement Grands Projets, we are recruiting a Country manager.

Reporting to the Africa, Asia-Pacific Area Manager, your mission will be :

• Structuring and managing the development of the company in the Australia-Pacific region;
• Being the contact between the support and senior management teams at headquarters in Paris and the subsidiary in Australia;
• Identifying and analysing potential business opportunities in line with the company objectives;
• Searching partners and analysing the competitive environment in the region;
• Leading the bids, following due corporate governance;
• Managing company’s operations in the country and ensuring its performance meets company’s expectations;
• Ensuring human, technical and logistical resources are in place for successful deployment in the country;
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports on the subsidiary;
• Ensuring and maintaining compliance with legislation and internal procedures in terms of health and safety, labour legislation, environmental impact;
• Participating in strategic orientations on the evolution of our business to adapt to a market in constant transformation.

Desired profile

You profile :

• You have a degree from an engineering school.
• You have professional experience in the construction field.
• You are curious, rigourous and organised.
• You have good interpersonal skills and are able to work independently.
• You are open to working in an intercultural environment and are open to new working methods.
• You are fluent in English and are able to communicate.
• You are open to business trips to meet potential partners and clients.

You are based in Sydney or Brisbane.
