VINCI Construction Geoinfrastucture (VCGI) is a long-standing and recognised designer-builder of major linear infrastructure projects in France and abroad.  

SPIECAPAG carries out complex onshore pipeline projects and associated infrastructure such as pumping and metering stations, water supply networks and mineral transport networks.

The two companies are part of VINCI Construction's Major Projects Division and are working together on a project in Papua New Guinea.

To meet the ambitious goals of the project, we are recruiting a Method Engineer (M/F) to join the project. This position is be based in Papua New Guinea, in a remote camp on the project site.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will be in charge of:

• Definition of work execution methods, landscapes, and schedule optimization.


• Redaction of the Work Method statements (earthworks)


• Follow-up and renewal of the Permit to work


• Production follow-up & monitoring


• Follow-up of subcontracts


• Daily progress report redaction


• Diary Report redaction


• Planning follow-up

Desired profile

• You have a higher degree in civil engineering


• You have a comprehensive and proven experience on civil engineering projects (earthworks, retaining structure) and if possible, abroad


• You demonstrate rigor and method, analytical skills, and anticipation to successfully complete your project.


• You have a professional Knowledge of computer tools for project follow-up and planning 


• You are autonomous on Autocad


• You are reliable, responsive, easy to work with and able to build relationships


• You are adaptable, diplomatic and have good interpersonal skills.


• You can adapt to a working and cultural environment different from your own.


• Your balanced temperament, and resilience make you well-suited to join an isolated base-living project (life in the workplace / alternating periods of work and rest).


• You have a good command of English (including technical English, as contracts and standards are drawn up in English) and can work in a multicultural environment.
