Construction Manager - Major Projects F/H

As part of VINCI Construction GeoInfrastructure's ongoing international development, we are recruiting a Construction Manager F/M  to work on our current and future export projects.

This position, which focuses on international and major infrastructure projects, will be based on an export project, usually in remote camp base and in a single affectation.

Working with our major projects, and reporting to the Project Director :

• You will be responsible for all aspects of the Construction activities, logistics, supply chain, interface management, fabrication, optimization to meet the needs of the project, taking into account the constraints of the work in this part of the world.
• You will specifically interface with project planning, ensure the mobilization is done in due course, coordinate with other disciplines, contribute to procurement strategy, mitigate project risk factors and promote safety method of work’s execution.
• You will ensure the delivery, control and validation of Earthworks & Civil Engineering works in line with the Design 
• You will ensure the compliance with technical and contractual requirements, especially with regards to Health & Safety and Environment
• You will monitor, manage and secure the performance of the subcontractors 
• You will monitor performance in line with Project objectives and ensure to meet the key schedule milestones as defined in the contract
• You will challenge and monitor cost/production

Desired profile

• Proven track record in managing and leading large sized construction projects (Linear Infrastructures, …)
• Civil Engineering and Earthworks technical expertise
• Experience working in multi-cultural teams
• Experienced in the development of talent within the business,
• Strong leadership and management skills,
• Wide ranging independent judgement evident, proven track record in this regard
• Acceptance of responsibility of role, and actively seeks opportunities to enhance personal performance
• Balanced and resilient
