Job Description
Within the Sales Marketing & Strategy department, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the content strategy for commercial offers, developing central trade marketing tools, and driving the global shopper experience for a select portfolio of titles, both online and offline. Reporting directly to the Shopper Marketing Associate Director, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Sales, Local Trade Marketing, Manufacturing, and Studios. Your key responsibilities will include :
1. Commercial Offer Development:
· Lead the creation and optimization of commercial offers and assortment strategies for your brand portfolio.
· Align offers with overarching sales and marketing goals, leveraging your deep understanding of commercial mechanics, consumer journeys, and purchase dynamics.
· Collaborate with Sales Planning, Marketing, and Studios to craft compelling offers and drive differentiation across distribution channels.
2. Central Sales Marketing Communication:
· Design and execute the global Sales Marketing communication plan, from the announcement of offers through post-launch content release.
· Develop and implement trade marketing communication strategies at a global level.
· Coordinate the development and communication strategy of Collector’s Editions.
· Ensure legal compliance of all offers, working with the Legal department, and manage communication of disclaimers across all channels. Partner with Consumer Support to ensure clarity and consistency in messaging.
· Collaborate with the Storefront Operation department to optimize storefronts on digital platforms. Focus on enhancing visibility through strategic messaging and metadata management.
· Support Sales teams in executing innovative activations and promos that enhance the consumer journey.
3. Trade Marketing Team Engagement:
· Lead and inspire local trade marketing teams to implement central strategies effectively.
· Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing across local teams.
· Collaborate with Digital Sales and Partner Marketing teams to optimize Digital Storefront placements, promotional creatives, and product page optimization.
· Monitor and report on the performance of retail and digital sales actions across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch phases.
4. Expertise and Communication:
· Serve as a key resource, sharing insights and updates with internal teams.
· Analyze competitor activities, identify areas for improvement, and share best practices to enhance our trade marketing efforts.
· Propose and drive new projects aimed at boosting product visibility and deepening player engagement with our brands.
5. Analysis and Reporting:
· Conduct ROI analysis for trade marketing activities.
· Lead post-mortem analyses of trade marketing campaigns for AAA titles.
· Forecast and manage your portfolio’s budget, ensuring optimal allocation and financial efficiency.
Qualifications
· Advanced degree from a Business School or a postgraduate degree, with fluency in English.
· Proven experience in Trade Marketing or Operational Marketing, with strong business acumen.
· Passionate and knowledgeable about the video game industry.
· Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate, influence, and engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
· Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a creative mindset.
