In this role you will be in charge of defining the new technical roadmap of the project. You will have a significant impact on the game through these different responsibilities:
· Define the technological vision of the project and take in charge the technical deliverables,
· Ensure the coherence, efficiency, scalability, modularity, and compatibility of the features,
· Promote good software architectural practices and good programming practices for the project,
· Evaluate existing engines and tools to determine their strengths and weaknesses and recommend those that best meet project objectives and expectations,
· Ensure the game’s optimal performance and ensure that project teams have the tools required to produce the required content,
· Lead the development efforts of the technical department and provide mentorship,
· Be the point of contact for all technical matters at director level discussions for the project.
· You have a solid experience in coding or other relevant experience,
· You feel confident in your ability to lead technical teams and have a real impact on tech decisions,
· You have good knowledge of the video game industry and have already contributed to the release of different games,
· Experience working within various game engines is important for this position,
· You are autonomous, proactive, and comfortable with communication exercises,
· You have a good level of English, both oral and written.
