Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking an Associate Media Planner, Global Media for a multi-month contract until the end of CY 2024.

This role will support the planning, execution, and reporting of global media buys for upcoming AAA game releases.

They will be responsible for the tactical management of digital campaigns across Meta, TikTok, X, Snapchat, Reddit, YouTube, Programmatic, Search, PlayStation, and Xbox. Buys will span multiple regions including North America, EMEA, and APAC zones.

They will report into an Associate Director, Global Media and work closely with global planners, channel managers, agencies, and platform partners.

The media team is part of a fast-faced and high demand marketing team and as such, strong project management, organization, and critical thinking skills are essential for success.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

 

• Support in the development of paid campaigns including the crafting of channel strategies and tactics, audience targeting, flighting, and weighting

• Lead all aspects of tactical execution including spec sheets, workback schedules, creative rotations, and asset deliveries

• Partner with channel managers on the operations of paid campaigns on Meta, TikTok, X, Snapchat, Reddit, YouTube, Programmatic, Search, PlayStation, and Xbox

• Coordinate with local media planners to consolidate details of managed service buys across each region

• Maintain accurate budgets and briefs, including mid and post-campaign reconciliation and billing

• Ensure proper delivery, pacing, and tracking of all media tactics

• Analyze the effectiveness of media channels during and post-campaign, and provide actionable insights and optimizations on a weekly basis

• Stay up to date on brand marketing communications, adapt media plans as needed, and communicate updates to key stakeholders to ensure alignment

 

 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

 

• Prior media planning experience is required, specifically with YouTube and paid social platforms

• Organized and highly detail oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple projects in a dynamic and highly charged environment

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively articulate and execute complex campaign set ups across multiple teams

• Demonstrate strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret data, generate actionable insights, and assist in comprehensive reporting to drive informed media decisions

• Proactive and accountable, with an ability to adapt quickly in an agile and at times ambiguous environment

• A natural collaborator who enjoys working across teams and building/strengthening partnerships to achieve results

This is a contract position based out of our SF Office with an initial duration of five to six months. The hourly rate for this role will be between $35 and $45 an hour.
