Job description

Major Responsibilities

To meet the company production and quality target as per contract.
To implement best recommended practice.
Ensure all work performed meets health, safety and environment (HSE) prevailing in the company.
To ensure all major electrical, automation, mechanical equipment always in proper operation condition and within specified parameters.
To produce accurate, real and timely production report on water production, water quality, chemical inventories and energy consumption.
To input basic process data into PLC/SCADA supervisory control system.
To ensure efficient plant operation with minimum energy and water losses.
To trouble shoot, consult and make recommendation on process operation.
To participate in major downtime work in the water treatment plant.
To monitor Production Staff efficiency, work quality records.
To ensure good Production Staff moral discipline, work ethics and obey with health, safety and environment regulations and standards that implemented by company.
To maintain a good track records/logs on daily activities and to give summary reports monthly.

Routine Responsibilities

To monitor operation quality process control on raw water and give instruction to operators to implement and necessary changes to pump operation, PLC/Automation setting, pump setting, dosage requirement, jar-test, pH, chlorine residual, aluminum residual, etc.
To instruct the start up/shut-down of major process equipment (RW, dosing pump, etc.)
To monitor and endorse Production Staff.
To produce efficient work schedule for Production Staff.
To issue work order request for maintenance
To provide and identify training needs.
To conduct briefing and evaluation Production Staff activities.
To ensure health, safe and clean workplace in every area/equipment.

 General Responsibility

To ensure sufficient and proper tools are available and used at all times.
To always wear company’s uniform and personal protective equipment at all designated areas.
To carry out any instructions or duty as and when assigned to by the company’s management.
