YOUR ROLE

As a trainee, your primary responsibility will be to automate and enhance daily infrastructure operations using the Ansible Automation Platform. You will work alongside various teams to create automation solutions that boost the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our IT services.

Main Responsibilities

·  Identify Repetitive IT Infrastructure Tasks: Catalog and analyze recurring tasks within the IT infrastructure to target for automation.
·  Establish Automation Use Cases: Define specific automation scenarios, including their scope, inputs, outputs, and associated risks.
·  Prioritize Automation Opportunities: Evaluate and select tasks that should be automated based on their impact and feasibility.
·  Create Ansible Playbooks and Roles: Develop and implement Ansible playbooks and roles to facilitate automation.
·  Enhance IT Operations Reliability: Improve the reliability and traceability of IT operations by implementing robust automation solutions.
·  Integrate with Existing IT Tools: Ensure that automation efforts are compatible with current IT tools such as Zabbix monitoring system, TSM, and CMDB.
·  Configure and Execute Jobs in AAP: Set up and manage automation jobs within the Ansible Automation Platform.
·  Conduct Testing in a Controlled Environment: Test automation scripts and processes in a safe environment to ensure functionality and reliability.
·  Document Automation Procedures: Create comprehensive documentation detailing the use and maintenance of automation solutions.
