We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic candidate to join our Public Affairs team. Reporting to the Country Liaison of Government & Public Affairs for Singapore, the candidate will play a role in coordinating public affairs activities, identifying new opportunities for enhancing company visibility, and supporting cross-departmental projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public affairs and contribute to the company's positioning as an industry leader.
Key responsibilities:
· Engage in market research and industry benchmarking to understand the competitive landscape.
· Monitor and analyze news, legislative developments, and regulatory changes relevant to the company's interests.
· Support the Public Affairs team in creating reports and templates that provide meaningful data insights, ensuring timely and precise reporting.
· Strengthen the company's positioning and visibility with government organizations, chambers of commerce, embassies, and other related public sector entities by coordinating and facilitating targeted engagement opportunities.
· Support preparation for engagements by conducting research, preparing reports, presentations, and briefing materials to enable effective and well-informed interactions.
· Assist in planning and executing events, meetings, workshops, and conferences that build and sustain productive relationships with key stakeholders.
· Contribute to the development and refinement of strategic narratives and written content that position the company as a trusted partner and contributor to the local ecosystem.
· Monitor progress on relevant projects and initiatives, aligning public engagement activities with government priorities, trade interests, and diplomatic considerations.
· Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners to support integrated public affairs efforts and maintain consistent messaging across all engagements.
Profile (candidate's skills):
· Candidates must currently be based in Singapore and hold a valid work pass/visa that allows them to undertake an internship in Singapore.
· Minimum of 6 months internship period.
· Pursuing a degree in Public Affairs, Public Relations, Business Administration, Marketing and Communications, Economics, Social Sciences or a related field.
· Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
· Interest in public policy, public relations, government relations, and / or program management.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management, and program management
· Proficiency in Canva is a plus.
· Possessing a proactive, positive and collaborative mindset, coupled with humility and a willingness to learn.
