· Description of the activity/project
· The candidate, who will play an active role in the molecular biology laboratory, will be included in the Silicon Biotech team dealing with the projects currently on-going, specifically:
· Freeze-drying (optimization of protocols and recipes)
· Demo test (sequence study and preliminary test/optimization)
· Use of Q3plus V2/ CAS instrument platforms
· Skill to be acquired the candidate should already have a theory biomolecular background, during his lab. experience he / she should acquire the following skills:
· Real time PCR mix preparation, instruments setting, results analysis and interpretation
· Sample preparation technique (magnetic beads / column)
· Main lab Equipment usage (thermocycler, spectrophotometer, micropipette etc.)
· Lyophilization technique (setting recipe and freeze-dry cycle, test the results)
· Real time PCR/LAMP assay development (sequence study, setting specific sw tool for assay creation)
· Objectives to be achieved the candidate should achieve the following objectives:
· Design and optimization of qPCR/LAMP assay.
· Setting of freeze-dry recipe for qPCR/LAMP mix
· Education:
· Master's degree in biotechnology, biology, or a related field.
· Technical Expertise:
· Knowledge of main technique of molecular biology.
· Good experience and knowledge of laboratory practice.
· Software Proficiency:
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
· Language:
· Business-level proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
· Soft Skills:
· Project management capabilities.
· Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work effectively in multidisciplinary environments.
