Product Marketing Engineer

STMicroelectronics has the need for a Product Marketing Engineer in the Santa Clara, California office to define, plan and carry out the strategy necessary for maximizing sales, market share and margin for custom and standard products developed by Microcontroller and Digital ICs Group (MDG).
Position Description
This outstanding opportunity will allow the right candidate to apply technical and business skills to bring to market, industry leading products and platforms in high growth market segments. Our vibrant and dynamic team-oriented work environment offers exposure to a variety of state-of-the art applications and technology each day. As a member of our team you will play a key role in promoting ST’s custom silicon and wireless transceiver products to leading customers in Americas. The primary area of focus will be Marketing for COT/ASIC platforms using specialty ST processes and wireless transceiver products.
Main Job Responsibilities
Demand creation and increase design-ins and market share of products at assigned AME customers
Conduct product trainings and webinars, internally and externally, for ST FSEs/FAEs and customers
Analyze customer applications and major trends to identify new product needs. Contribute to new product roadmaps and new product definitions
Ensure technical support in collaboration with regional application lab and product Division. Assist in definition, maintenance, and installation of evaluation boards and product demonstrators
Develop block diagrams to conceptualize and understand strategic applications for assigned products. Support development of reference designs for the applications that maximizes ST content

 

PROFILE REQUIRED:

Minimum Requirements
BS Electrical or Electronic Engineering plus 4-8 years’ semiconductor marketing experience
Preferred Qualifications
4+ years of experience that includes design/application engineering and/or marketing for semiconductor products
Knowledge of ASIC design, RF/Analog experience a plus
Experience with interface protocols such as Bluetooth, LoRA, WIFI,
DP, UART, I2C, USB and Ethernet
Solid verbal and written communication skills
