We're looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join Beamy's tech team for a 5-6 month internship. You'll work alongside experienced Software and Data Engineers in an innovative startup environment, gaining hands-on experience in both software engineering and data engineering practices.

MISSIONS

·  Assist the development team in building and maintaining features for our data detection and monitoring platform
·  Learn and contribute to our NodeJS/TypeScript codebase under the mentorship of senior developers
·  Support production and run tasks including debugging, data imports, and proof of concepts for custom client needs
·  Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies to understand the development lifecycle
·  Help with testing and debugging tasks

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

·  Backend: Node.js ( Nest.js ), TypeScript
·  Frontend: Vue 3 (Nuxt 3)
·  Database: MySQL
·  Cloud & Infrastructure: GCP, Docker, Kubernetes
·  Version Control: Github

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

·  Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
·  Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and web development
·  Interest in backend development and Node.js
·  Eager to learn and grow in a startup environment
·  Basic understanding of git and version control

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

·  Hands-on experience with production-grade Node.js development
·  Understanding of api architecture and cloud infrastructure
·  Real-world experience with agile development practices
·  Exposure to both software and data engineering challenges
·  Startup culture and product development lifecycle
