Job Description

You will work in a team of 5/6 people (web designer, fullstack, machine learning and hardware engineers, product manager).

As a senior full-stack developer, you will:

· 
Contribute to the backend & frontend development of Spark, our inspection software (that we deploy in factories), as well as the Quality Center our customer cloud data access portal. Depending on the features, this may entail:

·  Write maintainable code for new features, bugfixes and their corresponding tests: web applications, data pipeline (Python, Django, VueJS)
·  You have an eye for the user interface, and you implement the UI design into our applications (Figma)
·  Database analytics and queries optimization (PostgreSQL)
·  Analyze and improve the performance of some piece of software
· 
Develop and maintain machine learning operations tooling (PyTorch, ML Flow)

· 
Review other developers pull requests, provide constructive feedback and guidance for junior developers

· 
Participate in the framing of new features for our customers and internal users, anticipate technical issues and suggest improvements (Jira, Confluence)

· 
Test and ship software automatically in the CI/CD (Github Actions, k8s, Terraform)

· 
Run tests on real machines with belts & wires to validate new releases

· 
Help our Customer Success team for support tickets or operations on the field

At Scortex, all our written communication is in English. English is also the default language orally when non French speakers. Although the team being mostly French and those people tending to mostly speak french between each other it's likely you'll hear French.

Recruitment Process

3 interviews:

· 
Introduction call : 35 minutes

· 
Tech interview : 15 minutes demo of Scortex's product + 1 hour pair-programming + 1 hour discussion

· 
Founder call : 45 minutes

For candidates without code to show or a public portfolio, we might ask you to take a 2-hours coding exercise at home before the tech interview.
