Job Description

Neurobus is offering an exciting opportunity for aspiring Machine Learning Engineers who are passionate about AI and brain-machine interfaces. We develop a mobile EEG headband that can decode brain signals using low-power neuromorphic AI, to monitor mental states such as fatigue or stress. You will be working alongside experienced professionals to develop and implement biomedical data machine learning models for industry 5.0. The application we're targeting helps prevent accidents and increases productivity in industry settings. We use neuromorphic technology such as spiking neural networks and neuromorphic hardware to reduce the power consumption and latency of our models.

This opportunity is available as an internship, apprenticeship, or a permanent position, depending on the candidate's profile.

Preferred Experience

Key Responsibilities

· 
Assist in the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models tailored for EEG analysis.

· 
Help record EEG data.

· 
Help to collect the specs and requirements for EEG hardware.

· 
Manage and develop the cloud infrastructure necessary for scalable model development

· 
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and contribute to the AI solution development process.

· 
Support the evaluation and benchmarking of models

· 
Engage in research and experimentation with new machine learning algorithms and techniques to enhance project outcomes.

· 
Document and present findings and progress to the team, contributing to the knowledge-sharing culture at Neurobus.

Qualifications

· 
Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.

· 
Good software engineering skills

· 
Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms.

· 
Experience with programming languages such as Python, and familiarity with machine learning libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

· 
A keen interest in EEG technology and its intersection with artificial intelligence.

· 
Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and tackle challenging tasks.

Preferred Skills

· 
Prior project or coursework experience related to machine learning or data science.

· 
Familiarity with cloud computing services and environments.

· 
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
