Summary

As a IT Application Support Engineer,you will be supporting enterprise IT applications in the SCM area, used byHealthineers Business Units worldwide. Your tasks and responsibilities willinclude but are not limited to the following:

 

IT Support andTechnical Expertise

  • Ensure IT application availability 24/7 as well as the application performance
  • working hours: 8/5 (Mo.-Fr.)
  • on-call: during nights and weekends in team rotation
  • Provide 2nd level support within the Incident Management process (e.g. trouble shooting)
  • Provide 3rd level support within the Problem Management process (e.g. root cause analysis)
  • Take care on the Access Management process
  • Contribute to the Knowledge, Release and Configuration Management processes
  • Perform the Escalation Management process
  • Ensure and control backup and restore scenarios
  • Configure and install enterprise IT applications
  • Coordinate special technical requests with IT service providers
  • Contribute to implementation of IT application architecture (technology, interfaces, landscape)

Quality/ComplianceManagement

  • Contribute to accurate and up-to-date quality and end-user documentation
  • Assist during internal and external audits

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science/Engineering and/or Business Management
  • 2-5 years of experiences in operational IT Support especially in Incident and Problem Management
  • Hands on experience with web-based and cloud applications
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on multicultural sensitivity
  • Critical thinking and analysis skills with respect to varying customer and business processes and requirements as they relate to a larger picture
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Structured, proactive, and self-directed work style
  • Fluent in both German and English
  • Availablity for on-call duty in team rotation

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Experience in Healthcare industry business processes
  • Experience in the SCM area
  • Availability for occasional international business travel

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2000 EUR brutto/month + VAR*
