Workday Core HR & User Experience SME Job Description:

The Workday Core HR & User Experience Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible to support the existing landscape and to design, build, and deliver the future Workday Core HR & User Experience evolutions.  The SME will be committed to ensure alignment between Sanofi and Workday roadmaps and will define the short and long-term vision for these functional areas.

Duties & responsibilities:

·  Drive the Core HR evolutions to identify and execute the Workday roadmap including future functionalities.
·  Perform internal and external benchmark on HR processes best practices and corresponding solutions.
·  Monitor, analyze, and test items related to WD releases.
·  Participate in design groups and proactively recommend design best practices.
·  Contribute to the proposal, definition, and implementation of appropriate integrated HR tools and solutions (Workday) that aim to increase customer satisfaction and delivering high business value aligned with strategic objectives.
·  Provide HR process expertise and influence decisions on process design and solutions. 
·  Foster relationships with executive sponsors, key stakeholders, and customers.
·  Establish and implement a user experience strategy and governance (including mobile platforms).
·  Design a consistent and simplified user experience for Sanofi HR, Employees, and Managers.
·  Perform detailed analysis of business processes to produce enhancement opportunities and solutions for pain points with the end user in mind. 
·  Configure solutions into Sanofi HR Digital Systems (Workday) in order to build & deliver solutions (workflows, security, reporting, user experience).
·  Act as Tier 3 to be able to triage and resolve complex support issues.
·  Manage or participate in Core HR related projects in partnership with Business Transformation to maintain the integrity of Workday and deliver the right business solutions. 
·  Ensure a consistent and integrated approach between Recruiting, Talent, Performance, but also with other domains such as Learning, Career Management, Workforce Planning, and Analytics.

·  Strong partnership skills with the ability to manage all stakeholder expectations.
·  Ability to lead, align, and collaborate across organizational boundaries.     
·  Effective communication and networking skills to frequently exchange and share knowledge within the team and across various departments involved in the HR Digital journey.
·  Project experience with global HR systems and technology in a matrix organization.
·  Technical/Digital background and experience on complex environments and integrated solutions.
·  Ability to work autonomously to plan, prioritize, and manage several complex activities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
·  Evaluate risks, assess impacts, and arbitrate.
·  Demonstrated ability to challenge the status quo and to propose innovative solutions.
·  Must be results driven, customer oriented, with strong analytical skills.
·  Ability to learn and adopt new technologies quickly.

Qualification:

·  3+ years of Workday configuration and SME experience required in Core HR.  Workday Certification is preferred.  Experience in other functional areas such as compensation, security, recruiting, talent, etc… a plus.
·  Global platform experience required. 
·  Demonstrated experience in project methodology (Agile methodology experience or certifications) would be a plus.
·  HRIS experience is a plus.
