Unified Messaging Infrastructure Expert

The Exchange Technical Expert and Service Manager in this role will work closely with a diverse and global team focusing on the Messaging service at Sanofi.  The candidate will be responsible to participate in administering and evolving the messaging service that consists of 180k+ mailboxes for users in 100+ countries.

The role will involve working with several business stakeholders and technical teams to continue to evolve the messaging service.

The candidate will be responsible for delivering the expected level of services, striving for service excellence leveraging our external partners, drive the technical roadmap in collaboration with the Technical Expert and Service Management teams, and guide the development and delivery activity to deploy the relevant services or projects.

Responsibilities:

·  Provide centralized technical O365 systems administration, preparation leadership for Exchange mailbox migration planning as well as actual migrations to Exchange Online, ongoing operational support,  and problem resolution throughout all these activities.
·  Attend and contribute to planning and execution meetings related to messaging
·  Demonstrate strong experience and knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Azure, and Microsoft Active Directory
·  Use organization skills, along with the ability to multi-task
·  PowerShell scripting
·  Demonstrate the ability and willingness to research questions and problems, also collaborate with other technical resources to find appropriate solutions
·  Perform service management tasks

Technical Skills:

·  Office 365 administration
·  Exchange Online administration
·  Exchange Hybrid administration
·  Advanced level PowerShell scripting
·  Microsoft Exchange Online Protection (EOP) and Advanced Threat Protection (ATP)
·  Basic Microsoft Excel Proficiency
·  Basic Database Query Proficiency (SQL, MySql, etc.)
·  Data visualization and reporting
·  Internet research for solutions and information
·  Skills related to Service Management

Soft Skills:

·  Strong written and verbal communication skills
·  Ability to collaborate with others
·  Ability to provide technical guidance to management and key business stakeholders
·  Ability to work on a global team
·  Ability to work with technical and non-technical individuals around the globe who do not use English as their primary language
·  Ability to adapt to change

Formal Education and Required Experience:

·  Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
·  Minimum of five years of experience with Microsoft Exchange, including at least two years of experience with Office 365 and Exchange Online
