Job Overview:
As the clinical planning expert, the Senior Global Resource Manager (GRM) leads the resource planning for assigned Platforms, Franchises, and projects and provides advanced digital expertise in PowerQuery and Power BI/Tableau to the business office team and customers across Global Clinical Development (GCD). Resource s will include people/headcount/full time equivalents and dollars/costs. It is a hybrid role, that follows the data end to end (E2E).
This position will be located at either the Bridgewater, NJ or Swiftwater, PA office following Sanofi's flex work policy. The ideal candidate will live within a reasonable commute time to either location.
The general mission is to take planning data in its raw state from our planning tool RDPM (Planisware) and other sources and use excel, PowerQuery, PowerBI, and Tableau to transform it into data outputs that:

Are accurate
·
Are fit for purpose
·
Are easy for customers to use
·
Can be quickly refreshed by the Business Office team
The data will include people/headcount/full time equivalents, dollars/costs, and related parameters.
The Senior GRM then uses these outputs to
Ensure accuracy of planning data (including planned FTEs, available FTEs, Cost) and provide a holistic view to the Platform/Franchise heads and Project/Study Managers in GCD. The GRM collaborates with GCD to

Ensure the resource and financial plan aligns with the operational strategy for vaccine projects
·
Develop mitigation plans to address gaps in demand and capacity and forecast vs baseline.
·
Conduct FTE and cost simulations for due diligence, new targets, and ad-hoc requests to support assessment of new vaccine opportunities.
·
Conduct FTE and cost analyses to support ad hoc management requests.
·
Updates the FTE and Cost data in RDPM as needed.
Additionally, the Senior GRM coordinates the resource management processes and leads FTE consolidation at the Global Clinical Development Department Level (GCD)

Responsible for consolidation and analysis of the GCD resource and financial plan, with the support of the GCD Business Office, Subject matter experts, and Platform/Franchise heads

To ensure the accuracy of the department level resource and financial plan.
·
Ensure alignment with GCD, R&D, and sanofi strategic imperatives.
The Senior GRM also
·
Provides mentoring and support to GRMs and other staff as assigned in the business office.
·
Provides technical RDPM support to the Clinical Project Managers (COL)
·
Is a key interface with other internal customers in discussing key and resource needs and issues. The incumbent must possess communication skills and tact to deal with the different regional customs are critical to understand the situations and provide resolution should issues arise

Has a critical role in ensuring the planning infrastructure maximizes value and efficiency for example, planning templates, FTE and Cost metrics, and RDPM training.

Works with GRM, Business Office, GCD, and external stakeholders on transversal initiatives as assigned.
It is essential that candidates have strong expertise in Excel, Power Query, and Power BI or Tableau. In addition, the candidate must also have:

Bachelors Degree in Programming, Computer Science or relevant field is required
·
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience working with data analytics and building data models using advanced technology
·
Planisware experience is a plus.
·
Must be able to communicate (written, verbal and presentation) with parties of all levels the complex data analytics, methods and strategies used.
