Who You Are

As an API Platform Engineer reporting to the API Management and Web Technology team, you'll be instrumental in shaping the API platform's architecture, design, setup, and management. You will:

·  Design, develop, implement, and secure APIs.
·  Support business projects by assessing opportunities and simplifying existing architectures.
·  Collaborate with diverse teams, engineers, architects, and business stakeholders.
·  Drive the development of high-performance application services and solutions.
·  Ensure the performance, quality, security, and compliance of services.
·  Demonstrate expertise in microservices architecture.
·  Work with various application frameworks and support the technology strategy of the Digital Tech organization.
·  Champion Agile delivery and problem-solving.
·  Be a recognized subject matter expert, providing guidance on complex projects.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Focus on API Management platform using market-based solutions.
·  Implement API Management best practices, API Portal, API Gateway, Automation, and application virtualization.
·  Stay updated with market-based technology services.
·  Contribute to API architecture simplification.
·  Build trustful relationships with stakeholders.
·  Innovate based on market challenges.

About you:

·  Proven API Infrastructure architecture and development experience.
·  Proficiency in API Management tools (Layer7, MuleSoft, Apigee).
·  Compliance mindset (Sox, GxP, FDA).
·  Technical knowledge in infrastructure, cloud, and applications.
·  Strong experience in architecture and design.
·  Innovation mindset.
·  Strong networking and communication skills.
·  Fluent in English.
