About the job

As a Reliability Engineer with Sanofi you will provide Technical support to the on reliability improvement elements, as directed by the site’s Reliability Excellence  Program, including generating/providing key data for Equipment Performance Reviews on Critical production Equipment, the management of the production Predictive Maintenance system, building of Bill of Materials (BOMs) for Critical Equipment, progressing the build of critical spare parts, monitoring and managing equipment obsolescence.

The multiple national award-winning Sanofi Waterford biopharmaceutical and medical device campus is located in Waterford on Ireland’s southeast coast. Established in 2001 and now with more than 700 employees, the site has seen more than €600m invested in state-of-the-art infrastructure and technology. Diversification continues to bring new products to Waterford and the expanded site portfolio continues to create new opportunities.

Main responsibilities:

·  Responsible for the safe accomplishment of activities whilst following all statutory, environmental, regulatory (cGMP), corporate and departmental policies and procedure
·  Site's Reliability Excellence Program Core Team support for Production area, facility and Labs.
·  Responsibility for production equipment Predictive Maintenance system
·  Progressing the build of Bill of Materials (BOMs) on Critical Equipment within production
·  Support the facilitation and follow up requirements of the Asset Care Review on Critical Equipment within production/support area.
·  Responsible for progressing associated build work to ensure critical spare parts that have been identified are progressed to the point of order with on-site vendor
·  Work in conjunction with the Production Equipment Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Reliability Excellence Team in the preparation, support during and close out of critical systems Obsolescence Plans
·  Responsible for meeting predefined targets with respect to preparing documentation/data, participating in and following up on production related events for the Site's Rx Program
·  Support the site’s Unplanned Downtime Governance process by collecting, transcribing and providing key data to stakeholders and work with the Production/ Team
·  Leadership activities including talent selection, development, coaching and day to day management

About you

Experience:

·  Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Engineering role
·  1 - 2 years’ experience of sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is a plus

Soft skills:

·  Good communication skills at organisation, team and individual levels
·  Problem solving attitude

Technical skills:

·  Detailed knowledge of cGMP
·  Technical knowledge of relevant manufacturing technology
·  Knowledge in Equipment Reliability projects

Education:

·  Degree in an Engineering discipline
