Our Team
Our team is engaged in designing, delivering and supporting Digital Tech Services for all CHC worldwide.
We deliver our solutions in a highly competitive market answering FMCH needs and sometimes supporting regulated environments (GxP, SoX and other regional or local regulations).
Our team operates in an international context, serving all markets in most of the countries around the world.
Digital Tech encompasses following capabilities: Integration, Enterprise Architecture, Operations, Cloud engineering, Platform Engineering (e.g. DevOps & related framework), Enabling Platforms (ServiceNow, Observability, Chatbots, RPA, …), Digital Workplace and more “classical” infrastructures (hosting, network, servers, …).
With this “Regional Infrastructure Expert” position part of Operations team, you will oversee all Tech services having a local footprint and actively drive local Tech-related projects.
Main responsibilities
The Regional Infrastructure Expert is a strong technical expert, with proven expertise able to lead projects to be executed in various countries. They will:
Local standards & inventory
· Build & maintain an accurate cartography and inventory of all local Tech services across our CHC sites (manufacturing & corporate / commercial building)
· Ensure adherence to global Tech standards and drive by exceptions as needed with global Tech teams (infrastructure, architecture, …)
· Define, maintain & communicate standardized “local Tech services” patterns, based on our standards and having in mind reliability, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, agility & scalability
Local Operations
· Build a set of KPIs to measure & report on performance & reliability of local Tech services
· In relationship with Ops leads dedicated to Digital Units (more specifically Manufacturing & Supply), propose optimizations to maximize Business continuity and drive with following mindset: avoid incidents and reoccurrences through a strong problem solving methodology, leverage automation to limit human errors and enable self-healing
· Measure obsolescence of local Tech services and propose realistic roadmaps to keep technical debt as low as possible
Local Project
· With the support of external resources when required, coordinate various local Tech projects in alignment with local/global Tech teams and local Business representatives (e.g. WAN upgrade, local datacenter closure, LAN upgrade…)
· Contribute to Real Estate / Facility Management project related to Tech services, ensuring coordination of the design and of the implementation of selected Tech services
· Contribute to local applications projects (e.g. Scada, MES, …) by assessing the requirements from Tech Services, ensuring consistency with standards and coordinating implementation as per project’s milestones
Quality & Compliance
· Ensure proper compliance with Sanofi, CHC rules, policies, standards and applicable regulations (GxP, SOx, …)
· Ensure consistency of our referential (i.e. ServiceNow CMDB) vs. the reality on sites
Communication, adoption & education
· Partner with all internal and external stakeholders (Business, Digital, Quality, Industrial, ...) to communicate findings and progress on all ongoing activities
· Regularly educate local teams and be their voice in global Digital teams
About you
Technical background required
· Multi-year experience in Tech services. A recognized professional with various proven experiences in international context across global organizations
· Experience and knowledge in local infrastructure specificities
· Strong understanding of Information Technologies (including cloud, network…), architecture, …
· Strong project management skillset with proven experience in managing them in an international context
· Knowledge on industrial systems and architectures
· Knowledge of workplace services (M365, devices, …)
Soft skills required
· Proven experience leading and developing a high-performing global virtual project team
· Ability to provide innovative leadership and thinking to global and cross-functional teams
· Strong capacity to manage activities across web meetings and collaborative solutions
· Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, with ability to talk to Business and adapt “tech” language to this audience
· Ability to work in an international matrix environment
· Curious, open-minded, « out of the box » thinking
· Agile and continuous improvement mindset, with critical-thinking and root-cause-analysis paradigms
· Fluent in English
