Job context
In clinical development area ( CSO – Clinical Science Operation), there is a department ( CSCO - Clinical Supply Chain Operation) dedicated to supply patients with Investigational products. This department is in charge of management manufacturing and distribution of kits.
For distribution, a dedicated team ( IPM – Investigational Project Manager) with WW country footprint support local distribution follow up.
Main responsibilities
The IPM International leader is responsible to oversee the management of IMP activities in the countries under Investigational Project Manager (IPM) scope to guarantee that distribution operations are performed on time and in conformance with Sanofi standard and international regulations
From a team management point of view ( 9 headcount IPMs to manage) , IPM international Leader is in charge to :
· Define priorities and objectives to IPM and support them on a daily basis
· Develop IPM
· Assign IPM resource adequately per country to ensure business continuity all along the clinical supply chain, using forecast sanofi tool as reference
· Conduct regular team meetings, WW scope
From an operation point of view, IPM international Leader is in charge to :
· Define distribution strategy(ies) per country & maintain relevant data bases & qualified depots for IMP distribution by CSCO stakeholders and distribution vendors
· Be the key operational CSCO contact for global distribution depot vendor to ensure compliance with CSCO processes and strategy
· Develop training program & guidelines for the IPM team
· Perform a strategic oversight of contractors activity through provider management
· Collaborate with CSCO stakeholders to provide international IMP distribution expertise in the development of transversal projects, setting up of new tools, and design of relevant distribution processes
· Propose quick wins and simplification of distribution processes
Skill requested / requirement
Language skills :
· Good level of English (written and spoken)
· Another language is a plus
Operational skills / knowledges :
· Management skills
· Strong knowledge in clinical trial management and Clinical Supply chain
· Experience in successful vendor management and oversight
· Risk management skills
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
