About the job
Reporting directly to the Head of Product Supply, as a leader for Sanofi, you will play an integral role within the Product Supply Unit management team, ensuring reliable supply of syringe and Vial products to our patients globally. The Product Supply APU consists of Device Inspection, assembly, label & pack and Vial inspection, label & pack.
Main responsibilities:
· Provide leadership to the applicable Engineering and maintenance teams.
· Builds team structures and problem-solving process to ensure Engineering capability in problem resolution in support of manufacturing operational targets.
· Provide leadership for on-going continuous improvement projects across manufacturing assets.
· Support the engineering components of NPI activity in transferring new products to site.
· Maintain and strengthen relationships with department team leaders and team members and ensure a strong emphasis on the development of these resources.
· Encourage team member & team innovation with a strong emphasis on team member personal responsibility.
· Manage department spending and invest in opportunities to improve spend performance.
· Support operational performance through participation on the site’s operational value stream leadership teams.
· Ensure cGMP compliance is paramount in all department maintenance activities and systems and ensure area regulatory compliance, audit readiness and post-audit finding implementation.
· Work on continuous improvement projects
· Play an active leadership role in Health, Safety and Environmental compliance at all times. Actively support and promote HSE initiatives that target HSE compliance.
· Provide strong contribution to site Engineering leader forums and projects to ensure consistency of approach across site.
· Work closely with Engineering Projects to support the delivery of quality and timely capital projects across the site. Identify area capital projects and ensure timely implementation.
· Provide strong management and control of equipment vendors and maintenance contractors.
· Manage and accurately forecast function cost centre spend.
· Provide leadership to the applicable Off-line Team including Deviation management, Continuous Improvement and delivery of capital projects.
About you
· Degree in Third level qualification or equivalent
· Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Engineering and Maintenance Management role (preferably Inspection/Packaging)
· 8 - 10 years’ experience of pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
· Technical knowledge of relevant manufacturing technology
· Detailed knowledge of cGMP
· Excellent interpersonal skills – active listener
· Good problem solving and analytical skills.
· Experienced in production equipment project and program delivery.
· Effective facilitator
· Influences site KPI’s
· Full understanding of Health &Safety and legal requirements for the safe operation of his team
