Our Team

Sanofi Belgium is seeking a Product Specialist responsible for raising awareness of the Rare Disease portfolio.

In this role you will develop and deliver key account plans and maintain excellent external relationships and long term professional partnerships to maximize disease awareness, sales revenue and market share of the relevant products within your territory in the region of Flemish Brabant, Antwerp and Limburg.

Main responsibilities

·  Raise awareness of Sanofi’s Rare Diseases portfolio within a well-defined key target group
·  Share knowledge with key stakeholders regarding the therapeutic areas and the efficacy, safety and preferred positioning of product(s) to create a better understanding of the disease and the patients affected
·  Promote and ensure optimal care for patients by informing and educating HCP’s about optimal treatment and monitoring of patients, supported using Sanofi’s medical services
·  Establish and manage high quality customer relationships by maintaining knowledge of brand sales messaging, executing medico-marketing plans, scheduling and following-up with healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders
·  Be responsible for the development and implementation of key account plans, linked to national strategy
·  Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the diseases, products, market and customers. Participate in relevant sales meeting, congresses and symposia for key accounts and KOLs and organize territory-specific scientific educational events

About you

·  Bachelor’s degree in a Life Science, (Para)Medical or Business subject
·  3+ years of sales experience in a (competitive) pharma environment, preferably in a specific product/disease area (rare diseases)
·  Experience working within a multidisciplinary business environment, ability to operate in a cross-cultural matrix environment - essential
·  Proven commercial awareness in combination with strong scientific affinity/acumen
·  Outstanding networking skills with an ability to build trusting and lasting relationships with customer groups
·  Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship building skills
·  Professional, goal oriented and proactive, strong team player with a high-level of integrity and self-awareness
·  Analytical and forward thinker, problem solver, results oriented, self-organized and self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude
·  Digital mindset and interest in new technologies
·  Oral and written fluency in English and French
