Position Summary
The Process operator must be competent for most job categories required in the Processing Area. The operator is required to have the knowledge to perform set-up, operation, tear-down, cleaning, following cGMP’s and SOP’s.
This is a 2nd shift role - hours are: 2:30pm - 11pm.
Position Responsibilities
· The Process Operator is responsible for the quality and quantity of actual batch of raw materials to produce a finished bulk product by product formulation and specific manufacturing procedures. He/she is required to learn the operations of many different types of equipment such as: Mills, Grinding Equipment, Conveying Equipment, Mixing Equipment, Tableting Presses, and related equipment to compound and process raw materials to make tablets, ointments, creams, liquids, and powdered products.
· The Process Operator is required to observe product manufacturing and implement pre-determined control factors to ensure product processing remains within acceptable control limits at all times.
· The Process Operator is required to maintain production records, perform operations as defined by step-by-step manufacturing procedures and complete production orders when batches are completed. Processing operators must be able to participate in a team environment.
· Maintain equipment and work area in neat, clean, and orderly conditions at all times. Perform other tasks as directed by departmental Team Leader.
· Operate in a safe manner.

Job Requirements
Education
· High School Diploma or GED Required
Experience
· At least one (1) year of Manufacturing Experience
· At least one (1) year of high-speed packaging or assembly equipment experience
Professional Skills
· Must be able to perform duties without close supervision. Must maintain a satisfactory attendance record and a satisfactory safety record. Must be willing and able to read, comprehend, and follow written instructions.
Role Specific Competencies
· Must have a strong mechanical ability to understand equipment operations. Must maintain close visual attention during manufacturing processes.
Special Requirements
· Dress code requirements include: uniforms, hair covers and/or head covering, safety shoes, gloves, dust masks, and safety glasses as required by job conditions, provided by Sanofi Consumer Products
· Training will be required as needed and determined by department supervisor to ensure Sanofi Consumer Products procedures compliance as required by FDA-cGMP’s
· Job conditions include some exposure to product, dust, and grease in work area and exposure to recognized hazards of packing machinery
· Must successfully complete required pre-employment testing
